| Field Equipment Each project field office must have acess to the Internet, to use CMIS. That means a computer of some sorts. Often the project will provide a computer for the Construction Manager's field office. If not, you may consider purchasing a laptop. The FirstClass System can be reached using PDA's and cell phones. The system can forward (and read) messages to cellphones and pagers. Since a Blackberry is always connected, it is well suited to access all your CMIS content. A PDA "web" interface provides access to your data directly (no need to sync)..... including conferences! |
